City Council meetings
The City Council generally holds regular meetings in the Bloomington Civic Plaza's Council
Chambers on the first and third Mondays of each month, though this schedule is sometimes
adjusted to accommodate holidays. Study meetings are held on the fourth or fifth Monday of some
months. Occasionally, the Council also holds joint meetings with other organizational groups,
special meetings and truth-in-taxation meetings.
Streaming video is available for most regular Council meetings. During a
meeting, click the "Webcast" button above to see whether live video is available.
Online calendar
Our online calendar provides access to:

Agendas: Items slated for discussion or action at a particular meeting.

Synopses: Unofficial summaries (posted within a few days of a meeting).

Minutes: Official records (posted after they are approved by Council).

To search Council minutes, go to the online
calendar and, if necessary, select "City Council" on the left-side menu. Then,
click on the "SEARCH Minutes" link at the top left of the page.

Archived Webcasts: Streaming video archives of meetings. If available, a
Webcast link will be posted on the calendar within a few days of the meeting. Webcasts
typically are not available for special or study meetings.
