Long-range planning

Planning prepares long-range planning documents such as the Comprehensive Plan, district/area plans and neighborhood plans. The Division oversees preparation of environmental reviews for projects within the city.

Other government agencies such as Hennepin County, the Metropolitan Council, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service also prepare long-range plans that impact Bloomington.
