About the Farmers Market
The Bloomington Farmers Market is a weekly gathering in which farmers, growers and producers
sell their own products directly to the public, allowing consumers to have a direct
relationship with the producer of the items they purchase. The market emphasizes quality and
freshness.
The Market features a variety of locally grown vegetables, fruits, cut flowers, herbs, baked
goods, honey, specialty meat products, artisan cheese, maple syrup, jams and jellies, homemade
soap, kettle corn, unique art, coffee, crepes and smoothies.
The Market usually starts around June and ends around October. We're trying out an indoor
market during the off-season, as described at the top of this page.
