Please join us for what has become the true "ringing in" of Independence Day in the Twin Cities: Bloomington's Summer Fete, July 3 at Normandale Lake Park.

This year's fun starts with a carnival, includes two entertainment stages – the Kid's stage and the Main Stage – featuring a great lineup of performers, and as usual, culminates with a fantastic fireworks display just after dusk!

Saturday, July 3 Summer Fete
2 p.m.	84th Street Kids Carnival Families will love the carnival area on at the corner of Normandale Blvd. and 84th Street. This year’s play area will feature great inflatables and games. Bloomington Displays Bloomington Athletic Association (BAA) Bloomington Bomb Squad Bloomington City Council Bloomington Fire Department Bloomington Public Health Bloomington Sister City Bloomington SWAT Team Food Vendors Open 84th Street Carnival Area Bobick Concessions - Cheese curds Diventuri Concessions - corn dogs and more Drew's Mini-Donuts Gyropolis - Greek food Jerry's Lemonade - Lemonade and shaved ice Olson Popcorn - Popcorn and snacks Papa Rueben's - Walleye, hot dogs and cheese curds Yahr's Concessions - Cotton candy Bandshell Mainstage Area Carnival Concessions - Mini-donuts and "Fair" food Falafel King - Greek food Famous Dave's - Ribs and BBQ Jerry's Lemonade - lemonade and shaved ice Olson Popcorn - Popcorn and snacks O'Neil Concessions - Corn dogs and other dogs
3:30 - 8 p.m.	Music on the 84th Street Kids Stage The 84th Street Kids' stage, celebrating its fourth big year, will once again be headlined by the always entertaining Splatter Sisters. 3:30 p.m. – Wiggle, Jiggle, and Jam 5 p.m. – Rachael Kroog with Kid Power – A Patriotic Show 6 p.m. – Rachael Kroog with Kid Power – Summertime Fun Show 7 p.m. – Splatter Sisters
5 p.m. - 10 p.m.	Music on the Summer Fete Main Stage The main stage at the Bandshell is headlined by the biannual favorite, the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra. 5 p.m. – The R Factor – R&B, soul, classic and contemporary rock 8:40 p.m. – Bloomington Symphony Orchestra
Dusk	Fireworks Topping off the evening is the annual Summer Fete fireworks display. It starts around dusk – shortly after 10 p.m. The pyrotechnics this year promise to continue to be one of the best in the state. Bloomington's fireworks displays is one of the few to feature 10-inch shells. The Fireworks display is visible from all all around the event site. Look towards the Hyland Lake Ski Jump to see the aerial display launched from Chalet Road.
