A yearly flu shot is recommended for everyone

Flu shots are now available as follows

Bloomington Public Health nurses give flu shots at these clinics. You do not need an appointment. Please bring your insurance card or let us know if you do not have insurance. No one will be turned away.

At our Immunization Clinic held the first and third Tuesdays of each month
from 3:00-5:30 p.m.

If you are attending the clinic, please remember the following:

Shots will be given to persons 6 months of age and older. No appointment is necessary; short sleeves are suggested.
Bring your insurance card so your insurance company can be billed. Let us know if you do not have insurance.
Come with your child. Children under 18 years must have a parent or guardian present.

Take simple precautions to prevent getting and spreading the flu

Get your flu shot.
Cover your cough with a sleeve or tissue. Wash your hands after using a tissue.
Wash your hands frequently.
If you have flu symptoms, stay home for 24 hours after fever subsides. Flu symptoms include fatigue, fever, chills, body ache, and sore throat.
