Bloomington Business Watch
Business Watch is a free program offered by the Bloomington Police Department to all businesses in the city. The program is an excellent way to keep in contact and network on issues specific to doing business in Bloomington. Information sharing is invaluable and membership in this program builds cohesiveness within the Bloomington Business Community.

- Lighting at all businesses must be compliant with city code by 2010.
- Addressing must be visible on the front and rear doors of the business.
- Alerts for businesses on current crimes and criminals.
- Roll Call -- This weekly local cable program provides information on statistics, criminal activity and information about the Police Department.
- Bloomington Loss Prevention Coalition is a group of retail loss prevention staff that meet four times a year for training and an information exchange.

- Information on the Minnesota Crime Alert Network, a broadcast fax network of crime alerts that may affect your business.

- Business Watch newsletter.
- Guidelines for reporting account closed checks, forgery and credit card fraud cases.

- Identity theft, counterfeit IDs and counterfeit currency.
