This tag is a "door knocker." It indicates that we need to close out an open permit
on your property.
City of Bloomington inspectors have been visiting residential homes to assist in closing out
open permits.
If you receive a "door knocker" hang tag at your home, there are open permit(s)
associated with your property. Please call the City’s Building and Inspection division at
952-563-8930 to schedule an inspection.
There is no cost associated with the inspections; it is for the safety of the homeowner.
