City inspectors hand a contractor the "orange" card that is placed on-site until all inspections have been completed and signed off.

Ordinances and codes are developed to keep people safe from hazards by maintaining quality construction, healthy food processes and a safe environment. Permits and inspections are used to regulate processes and guarantee that the ordinances are followed.
