Bloomington is centrally located with Interstate 494 to the north and Interstate 35W running through the center of the city.

Since the pioneer days, Bloomington has been a hub for travelers -- movement is the way of life here. Two interstate freeways cross within the city limits; a river defines our southern border; an international airport lies directly to the north and a light-rail transit line glides from our Airport South District to downtown Minneapolis.
